Last updated: 1 February 2026

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of theolivestudio.com (the “Site”) and any forms or services made available on the Site. By using the Site, you accept these Terms in full. If you do not accept them, please do not use the Site.

About us

The Site is operated by The Olive Studio (“we”, “us”, “our”), a creative agency providing branding, design, print, web development, hosting, managed services and marketing. You can reach us at hello@theolivestudio.com.

Use of the Site

You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of, restrict or inhibit anyone else’s use and enjoyment of the Site. In particular, you agree not to:

  • Use the Site in any way that breaches any applicable law or regulation.

  • Submit any content that is false, misleading, defamatory, obscene, infringing or otherwise unlawful.

  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Site, our servers, or any related systems.

  • Use the Site to transmit malware, spam or any harmful code.

  • Scrape, harvest or copy content from the Site for republication without our written permission.

Forms and submissions

The Site includes contact, newsletter and design-request forms. By submitting a form, you confirm that:

  • The information you provide is accurate and complete.

  • You have the right to share any files you upload (including ownership or appropriate licences for any logos, images or brand assets).

  • You are at least 16 years old.

Submitting a form does not constitute a binding contract for any work. Quotes, scopes and contracts for paid work are agreed separately, in writing.

Intellectual property

All content on the Site — including text, graphics, logos, images, icons and design — is owned by The Olive Studio or our licensors and is protected by copyright, trade-mark and other intellectual-property laws. You may view and download content for your personal, non-commercial reference only. You may not reproduce, modify, distribute or republish any part of the Site without our prior written permission.

Where we deliver design or development work to a client under a separate engagement, intellectual-property ownership and licensing for that work is governed by that engagement’s contract, not by these Terms.

Your content

You retain all rights in any content (text, files, briefs) you submit to us via a form or by email. By submitting it, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, copy and use that content solely for the purpose of responding to your enquiry or delivering the work you engage us to do.

Third-party links

The Site may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the content or practices of those sites and provide the links as a convenience only.

Disclaimers

The Site is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free from viruses or other harmful components. We make no warranties about the accuracy, completeness or timeliness of any information on the Site.

Limitation of liability

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded under English law.

Subject to that, to the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, special or consequential loss, or for any loss of profit, revenue, data, business or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Site.

If you engage us to deliver paid work, the limits and exclusions of liability for that work are set out in the contract for that engagement, not in these Terms.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless against all claims, costs and damages arising from your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Site.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Site (or any part of it) at any time without notice if you breach these Terms or if we reasonably believe you may do so.

Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms and any dispute arising out of or in connection with them are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any such dispute, except that we retain the right to bring proceedings in the courts of any country where you reside or do business.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version takes effect from the “Last updated” date at the top. Continued use of the Site after that date is your acceptance of the updated Terms.
